Grand Island is 1/2 way between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. I-190 runs Sright through the middle of it. I am surprised you cannot find it on a map. Look at any map of western New York and you should be able to see it.
Sorry, I just assumed it was in Canada. I was searching in Ontario, Canada. I suppose I'm too addicted to this laptop, I never thought to look at an actual map.

Yeah, I'm still old school, maps are for me. I got a GPS for Christmas last year, still haven't used it, LOL. Half the time, they are wrong anyway, or you have to waste so much time programing all the parameters in, by that time, I could have just looked it up on a map.

That video was probably taken on Monday. At the peak, there were 86 cars on the arena floor and probably close to that again on the mezzanie. That "first" T/A was a custom conversion by George Barris, not in any way associated with PMD, just the owner's opinion I guess...

Does anyone know of a good "free" photo hosting site? I probably took a couple of hundred pics. I'm guessing that would be better than trying to post them all in a thread, the uploading might take hours...

OK, so I opened a photobucket account, now how do I upload my albums? I have all the pictures in two folders, about 150 in each one, but when I go to upload, it seems I have to do one at a time - well I sure heck ain't gonna do that! How do you upload an entire folder - there don't seem to be any instructions on the site for doing that...

I'm getting a CD with 250 pictures in the mail now that I am Newletter Editor
Great, maybe you can load them on your hard drive and figure out how to upload them to the site. I don't have any more time to waste with stinkin' photobucket!

Thanks Bill, Hillar was over telling me all about the mid fifties Safaris last night, great to see them. I only see three 73 GT0's Yours, Imran's and Bill Early's, was that it?
There were 4 '73 GTOs on site. Jim Early's black 400 automatic car was inside on the mezzanine level of the Nutter Center and was judged "Best Restored" in GTOAA Concours. Imran Chaudary's silver SD455 4-speed and my my white 400 4-speed cars were the only 2 cars in the 73-74 GTO popular vote class. Joe Sparks black 400-4-speed car was in Display Only on the other side of the Nutter Center because he registered after the deadline (June 22nd).
There were also two '73 Grand Ams in the POCI popular vote show. A black one was in the stock intermediate class and a two-tone tan/burgundy 4-speed car was in a modified class. Both I looked at in the rain, so I don't have any more details.
Hillar, sorry we only got to chat for a few minutes at the Quaker Steak & Lube cruise. It seems there is never enough time to spend with friends and before you know it everyone heads home.
Well you know how it is at a convention that large. There were people who I knew were there but I never managed to run into. I saw your car parked at the dragstrip on Friday and looked for you in the stands but couldn't find you there either.
If I ever fiqure out how to use photobucket, I will try and post my photos here as well.
