That's beautiful! I'd say that this Can Am is worth the BIN price.

I had a picture of that car hanging on my wall when I was 14. It's on my bucket list, but I'll do the easy ones like go to an OutBack Steak House first.

I'd have to say that with those snowflakes that is a great looking car BUT being a US only model I never garnered an affinity to those cars. I know they have a big following stateside.

Speaking of rare, I was going northbound Hwy 400 Saturday afternoon just near Cookstown and a mint 75 GT Cup Car was flying down the southbound lanes. Just got a glimps.

Could be it, I did notice it had no body emblems just like that one. They should be the "GT and "Maple Leaf".  Where does that car live? That one is very rare as it is a 400, most would be sbc 350.

All I can tell from that site is that the owner, in 2003, was Richard Duncan whose eMail (at the time) was riduncan@look.ca

Look.ca is in receivership and is in the process of selling its assets to Rogers and Bell, so who knows if the eMail address is still good.

Lots of R Duncans on Canada 411, but one comes up in Orangeville and another in Mount Albert, both within Pontic haulin distance from Cookstown & the 400.

If you're into snowflakes Ray I saw this 15" set of 4 on Kiji last week...too bad they're down East but are only a couple hundred bucks!.

Pontiac CanAm's are cool but nowhere near as cool as the little known Chevy Can-Ams...only 100 built and my favourite car of all time!.

Now that is cool.

I've always been partial to the Grand Am CA that came out in '78

I had a copy of High Perf Pontiac with these cars featured on the front page. I believe there was a guy that had one converted into a 4-gear as well. I will have to find................

There are 2 versions of the 15" snowflakes, the 15 X 7's and 15 X 8's, the latter are worth alot more and nicer in my opinion, they have a deeper lip, you could get them in Gold color as well.
