BODY TAG INFO

I JUST NOTICED THAT THE BODY TAG, WHICH IS MOUNTED INSIDE OF THE ENGINE BAY, IS MISSING. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A REPLACEMENT TAG CAN BE GOTTEN, BASED ON VIN AND/OR ORIGINAL DEALER'S INVOICE INFO? THANKS.

'74 grandville convertible. it has been re-painted once, so they might have removed it during that process, but no one seems to know where it went. and the info wasn't recorded anywhere before or during its removal.

Jimmy...

Welcome to the site!.

Although I'm not a fan of repop tags myself, it's your car so all up to you to do what you feel is best for you and your car..

High dollar cars that have missing trim tags are usually better left as is (especially one's that can be documented), but a '74 GrandVille's value shouldn't be affected by a repop tag much so here's the info you need..

If you include a repop tag on your car, keep in mind you should be up front about it especially if ever selling the car also the car can not be sold or advertised to be sold to residents of Oklahoma USA where it's illegal to do so..

Good luck!
