The Last Pontiacs

The targa-top Pontiac Solstice coupe 600-solstice.jpgis reported to be the last Pontiac produced. Only 1100 will be produced and each one will have sequential VIN's. These are guaranteed to be future collectibles. I wonder if any will be sold in Canada?

Egad. What a slamming review. no

If the head honchos still haven't figured out that they know nothing about designing cars for today, I'll be glad to drop by Detroit and tell them. furious

I don't believe the reliabilty is dismal on these cars. The only issue we had were some convertible top leaks when I was at the GM dealer. Obviously that won't be a problem on this one. These cars really fly with that direct injected Turbo. I hear these cars are running 14's right out of the box. If you see a ragtop GXP at a dealer, take it for a drive- especially if it's a stick.

typical review by a writer that basically knows squat about cars.

more concerned about cubby holes and cup holders and that his slim jim is in easy reach.

i've never seen any issuses with the 2.2 eco, it runs strong for a 4 cyl.

I have an 08 HHR SS with the same motor. I bought the stage 1 kit Gm puts out. Gives you 290 HP & 315 lbs torque with full warranty and said to put you in the 13`s and rated @ 41 MPG
