how do I check for oil on a straight six

Where or how does one check oil levels in a straight 239 flathead six, I  dont see a dip stick anywhere, so how is it done....call me confused ????

There is a stick on the Genetator, Starter side. It should be just behind where the engine breather is. close to the Distributer. I have added a pic if you look close I have  circled the stick for you, its kinda hard to see, but its there.

I will check tomorrow,and thanks rolilk and 73SC, my block does not have any paint whatsoever on it that I can see so the color picture is great, now I can see what the engine bay is supposed to look like
