The POCI Co Vention had about 1,300 cars and was great. Many of the people attending said our Canadian Cars were the best cars at the Show because they so unique. We had seven cars on desplay, they were a 1958 Parisienne Convertable 348 Tri Power, 1961 Parisienne Convertable Six Banger, 1965 Acadian Beaumont L79, 1966 two door post Laurentian six banger, 1966 Acadian Sport Deluxe 350 Modified, 1966 Acadian Canso L79, and a 1967 Beaumont SD 396 Convertable.
The following members of the newly formed Canadian Pontiac Specialty Chapeter that attended the Show were Paul Bergstrom Mn., Joe Lizon Mi., Chris Pointon On.,Hillar Pinna On., Bill Wertheim Ny., Rejean Grenier On., and Robin & Maureen Burlington On..
We attend the seminar in which Jim Ewin the head of Design for all the Canadian Pontiac Models gave. He has agreed to do an interview with Hiller Pinna for an up comming issue of CPSC News Letter. I will also try to post some of the renderings he made of Canadian Pontiacs Models.
Everyone had a great time, and again all the Pontiac POCI members and people attending the Show were vary impressed with the Canadian Cars. We did not recieve one negitave comment. Joe & Susie

Thanks Joe, nice report. Hillar was over for a debrief last night. Sounded like a great time amd convention. It was awesome to find that the actual designer of the Canadian Pontiacs, Jim Ewin, was there with his drawings and stories!
I helped judge that black 58 Parisienne convertible last year at POCI Spearfish. The americans thought it should have LOF glass, but I knew Canada didn't start using that until the mid 60's, so I saved him a couple points.
