You mean I missed a 1 wheel smoke show!!!   Not fair.  With the tires I have on my car now, unless I launched it from a stop I'm lucky if it squeeks.
What a fun day it was. Did you get pics of the 427 doing it's thing?
Hope these fun days happen more often.

I want to thank everyone that came to the BBQ, we met some really great people and yes we need to do it again! We were blessed with only a light sprinkle of rain.
I have a lot of corn to finish, cottonelle it's cottony soft.
Carl the Chief's DNA is about 60 feet long plus a couple of short ones. I shudder to think what will happen when you get the positraction installed!!!

Thanks for the pictures. Chris you provided a great venue for those pictures. Looks like you are getting rewarded with some lush looking grass with your summer moisture or else your sprinkler system has been doing a great job. Cool pictures of the emblems too, they would be a valuable collection in themselves. Looks like it would have been a great time.

Just so everyone can grasp how impressive this was, the Chief was doing about 30 MPH when Carl dropped the hammer and lit it up and he got rubber on the next two upshifts as well as Chris has mentioned worship.gif

Sounds like you all had a blast! Hopefully i'll make the next one. I ended up doing some travelling yesterday, got to Zurich, will post some pics. Again looks like i missed out on a lot of fun, and those cars look awesome!

Chris, sorry the Michigan Court System wouldn't allow Susie & myself to be there. Can't leave the state when on Jury Duty hope this thing is over soon. Sounds like everyone had a great time, missed seeing the gang and smelling burning rubber.

       It spun THE tire? disbelief I thought the clutch was slipping!wink  The Hurst shifter works well!!  I think I will adjust the carb linkage, so the 4 barrel opens ALL THE WAY  LOL

Martin gave us a very good route home, Hwy 10 to Hwy 9, south on Bathurst to Bloomington Side Rd and down the 404.

I was thinking about you Dave as we drove on Bloomington, maybe on another day we might have sidetracked to Kettleby but we ran through a lot of rain on the way home plus mama bear wanted to get home to her babies, LOL, 17 & 22 yr.olds at home on Saturday.

Hey Brian, not sure if you know but Hillar has a few that would give the Chief a run for the money. See November 2008 Feature Car.

As far as POCI - CPSC members go there is Chris our Vice President, me Newsletter Editor, Hillar & Carl plus you Brian so 5 out of 8 present.
