Todd, it belongs to a customer-Texas car, Target Master 350, A/c currently not functioning, very nice very clean, original woodgrain-he wanted $12,000 to get $10,000 last year-he gave me a bottom number of $8500 the other day-so I posted it at $10,900 for him-if anyone is looking for one of these-this is it and the price is good. If I wasn't so loaded down and lacking employment it would be in my driveway.
Cool car. His only issue is there are so many cars in that price range right now. It's like being a kid in a candy store if you are in the market for an old toy.
Before she met me, for her a car was point A to point B. We've changed that over the last 22 years! She used to hate big cars too but for the last 11 years her daily car has been a Roadmaster sedan! The other day we were discussing what we would get next when the time comes and her comment was "I'm happy with the Buick we have..." Can't argue with that!
She encourages me with my car hobby because she knows it's good for me to have the hobby. Otherwise, she is not that interested in cars.

My wife likes red cars, blue cars, yellow cars, white cars, black cars, etc. ... that's how she differentiates them ... not by model, year, etc. She's cute!

That's exactly what my wife does. I can tell her what it is and what's in it but in the end...it's just a red car, or a blue car. Oh well...at least she doesn't mind mine...of course i haven't started to sink money into it yet. Got none floating around to sink...especially with the baby on the way. Another good thing is i've gotten her disliking Ford now, she has learned her lesson and won't buy another. She also has enjoyed riding around in the Trans Am, actually out in it for a bit yesterday, that was nice. I look forward to strapping the car seat in the back next year!
I was wondering, if we all had different experiences, with wives who loved/ didn't love cars? My wife of 41.75 years loves her Suburban, with all the chrome, I can put on it, and the chrome 20 inch wheels and has always tolerated my car crazy acts
The replys are very interesting ! I am encouraged, that I am not alone, living with a "non car guy" I appreciate her support, and it shows, that you guys like the suppport too ! God Bless the girls
68sd...is your wife a car fan? Hint Hint....you should post on this forum...LOL
By the way guys, I am 68sd's wife. LOL I was even doing Poncho registry work 2 weeks ago at the Lang Pioneer Village car show. Searching for Canadian pontiacs I was.
LOL...I'm at work and I had to ask Fred a question so I knew the only way to get ahold of him was to register onto this website so I could send him a message. I just knew I would get ahold of him that way...LOL
I have a winner! When I met her in 1985 she had a 66 SD rag, black on black fully restored. I had (have) a 55 Bel-air, and it started from there. I was going to race my 55...she said No WAY are you cutting that up! Go buy a race car!, so I did...actually bought 2 within a year and a half. I said, now I'll sell my 55 to pay for the race car....NO WAY! Youv'e had it since high school, your not selling it! ....OK dear..... several years and three kids later, I'm restoring her a black on red 65 sd. We also have several others added to the stable, AND she runs my auto parts buisness for me! She'll even help me in the shop if I need it. ( I kinda keep her out of there for the most part, support is great, but she's not a wrenchead!) No...she doesn't have a sister, and she's not for sale.
Well I bought her a 66 Acadian 4D 6 banger with the intention of keeping it stock. Well see wants sleeper and it has to have that sound you know the one. I will let the pics tell the rest you decide is she a car guy yes or no

Hi Bud,
I just wanted to say I'm jealous, not because of your wife, but because you live so close to Mission, the best 1/4 mile strip anywhere. I'm stuck out here on the east coast now (my wife feels the same way, best track)

Rencia, is a car wife and loves the comfort of the 65 Malibu when we hit the long road and combining it with the great scenery of our country and the shopping for souveniers.
