General Motors Suisse SA in Biel or Bienne, Switzerland, assembled an unusal, and unique, mix and match car in 1962 and 1963 Model Years. These were Chevrolet Beaumonts...basically they were Chevy II chassis, and running gear with 6-cylinder engines, but fitted with Acadian Beaumont bodies. That meant non-standard external and internal trim that differed from the Chevy II 300 but more luxurious than the Chevy equivalent. The body plate stated that it was a Beaumont, (BT) but the chassis plate that it was a Chevy II assembled in Switzerland.
