I worry more about the undercarrage if the frame is gone.

The convertible frames are boxed and the debris tends to get trapped inside, holding moisture that causes the frame to rust out. In my experience it starts to show up as thin spots in the front of the frame, in the flat before the frame pinches up towards the front suspension(in line with the front of the doors). If you catch it in time (The rust is usually starts in the frame not the boxing) and can find a non convertible frame, I believe you could cut the boxing off your existing frame and graft it on the new frame.  I've seen several very nice Beaumont convertibles that had frame issues, owned one that the frame was the best feature and looked at one that had a regular unboxed frame installed.

I havent seen a boxed portion of a convertible frame in any better shape than the standard part of the frame yet. but you never know.

Do you have any 64-65 cars? I'm in Duncan and also born, raised on the Island.

I don't know about you kelly but they usally brake near the tranny cross member. Repairing rusted frames is a no no. A patched frame seriouly reduces the price of any car. Finding another rust free one is the way to go.

I have  a few extra originals, but it would be nice to see what a 65 Beaumont aftermarket frame would look like and how much.

Should have asked when you were over. I sold a frame (Roadster shop) to a shop in Abbotsford for a 65 Chevelle rag. pretty cool deal. Will go around corners better than a c5 vette. Morrison now has one as well, and I think it may even be better. We are also Morrison dealers....
