Bill, I was at the game Tuesday as well, gotta admit Rivera looked a little shakey at the end.aww

Glad you enjoyed your trip to the land of high gas prices!  As to where this gentlemen resides, can you give us a clue as to the general area?  Just curious.

How old is the owner?  Did he buy them new?  Does he ever drive them - hint, did they have current valid licence plates on them?

located in my town , he can't be driving them-I've never seen them-I know who he is-keeps his cards close to his chest-asked me about my beaumonts many times over the years yet never mentioned these-I like that !

Them Blue Jays beat the crap out of those American teams playing their game back in 92/93- then they bought all our players so we wouldn't do it again ! minimal exchange rate at the time,LOL

I usually agree with you Ken, but not in this case. If you're a true car guy, you're proud to show off your stuff. I don't mean to just anybody, but you've got to share with your good car buddies. ( If you don't want them to tell anybody, just let them know not to) He sounds a little too flaky to me.

On another note, I would say that starting soon there's going to be a lot of these car/parts collections going up for sale, either estate sale or otherwise. Guys that acquired alot of this stuff in the early to mid 1970's are getting up there in age, and are either passing on, or it's just not that important too them anymore.

Bingo-you hit the nail on the head-imagine talking to me about mine and not mentioning his.

Yup demographics will make their play-I've never seen so many projects for sale-now for the good stuff.

A little trivia for you-Mr. Dain was a wealthy man who planned to build a city in Canada-he headed out to Canada with his money on the Titanic and of course never made it-the village is named after him.
My parents lived in Dain City until I was three

Hard to imagine in these times - " Ah, I think I'll move halfway around the world and build myself a city!"
