Wow, your really on this ! With the second car the 736 vin Sport Deluxe how did you determine it was A51 Sports option or just A51 bucket seats  in a Custom model ?

I didn't realize you were back to nov 21-but I guess the 'Q' is A51 only instead of
A51 and D55 because this is an October car ?

I tried to load my info for registry  but it wouldn't work-I'll just PM it to you in the next couple days

I think we've come to the conclusion that when an A51 was a 'sports option', then no console was optioned.... if it was A51 and D55, then it was a custom w/buckets console (when it had the 736vin)...738s also had A51 and D55 when optioned...

But the trim tags didn't list all the option codes?? so i suppose the second car may have had a D55 on the production sheets, or perhaps the owner has it verified with GM vintage...

edit... i see you guys have now replied before i hit the 'post' button on this reply...

Fred

As you may know, I am keenly following this 736/738 Sport Deluxe date tracking.

I am fresh off 9 days vacation at the lake and can't get my head around what you are saying here.

I still see it in the registry as the "newest" Sport Deluxe 736 car is November 25th and the "oldest" Sport Deluxe 738 car is December 16th. Does that not still leave it that the change occurred between Nov 25 and Dec 16?

So his ad is on Saskatoon yet the address shows Winnipeg. Does he say where these actually are?

Now I get it. You are saying this is a 736 Custom with A51 buckets and D55 console. By that you are implying if the next car on the assembly line was a Sport Deluxe it would have been a 738 car?

So you have never seen D55 on a Beaumont cowl tag before Nov 21?

I need to run out and see someone I know who has a few 67's and check his tags. If I can, I will get pictures.

He sent me a bunch of pics-the cars are really rough and need everything.I am going to have a look at them this week I hope and see what is up with them, but from what I can see they are not worth anything close to what he is asking. The custom 4 speed car looks like it was a bench seat car.

I believe these are in Winnipeg. I saw these on usedwinniepeg.com last week.

They appear to be sold.
