I promised myself to never own a black car again. Lots of swirls and the dirt shows up quick. Bright colors are great for hiding dirt. I painted my project Beaumont Bright blue and it looks great. Easier on your body man too. Tuff to make a black car look strait.

You got that right . They looked great but hard to keep clean.  My truck is black also. I gave up trying to keep it clean.

my first car was black, and it was my last (1968)  I love white and light colors (easy to clean)  I love black as long as its someone elses car biggrin   Wash your black car, and go get milk!  Drive home and it  needs to be washed   Not for me...

Paint your car the correct factory color. It's the best way to go.

Choose a color that you like. Keep in mind that black is the color that shows up imperfections more than any other color and it is difficult to keep clean. It looks nice when it's new.

I love a black car, just not the work that goes into keeping it looking sharp.

I have seen alot of 67 beaumonts and black is my preference as well.It is your car and ultimately your choice-I always say when it comes to building your own car regardless of what is it-always build it for you cause in the end YOU need to be happy with your choice.Black is where it is at-when they are clean-you simply cannot beat it on a 67sd.My two cents.

I like black, as long as the body work and paint quality can support the black colour! when its clean and shiny, it looks the best... but its alot of work to maintain... my beaumont is yellow, and sometimes it see years between washes!hahaha! i just chamois it and go! ...my daily driver is black... its a pain to keep clean but it looks great!

Once you've had black, there are times you never want to go back!

Danude Blue (midnight blue metalic) is nicer than black. My two cents. Easier to clean too.

It's your car Micky, paint it the colour that YOU want. Personally, I love black cars.
