Hi everyone new member here, Ilove the old Canadian poncho's and have had this 64 for about 8 years now.Still has the orig 283 and 'glide, upgraded to power disc brakes, and 3" drop springs. It was about a week away from having the motor pulled and scrapped when we bought it....almost 40,000 miles later she has been from coast to coast and lots in-between ! It was gonna be just a temporary old car, being an old 4 door and all...but know shes a part of the family, and is here for as long as I am alive!! The flat black pic was just before her recent facelift for some much needed lower 1/4 panel fabrication and repair.
theres a really solid 64 4-door down the street from me, 283 glide, 30 or 40 thousand miles, old guy did some bodywork and spray can primer $2000 would make a great car to do this with

I say go for it but I am a little biased I have owned more cars than I can remember and this ol Pontiac has been by far the best bang for the buck, and one of the most reliable cars I have ever had. I know it sounds wierd but I think the ol girl is greatfull I saved her from the scrapyard!
good stuff. I still have to do my doorskins and somehow make or buy some cheap bench seat covers. If i can get my neighbor over (i just have to entice him with beer) then i will be getting it all pinstriped and i might airbrush a pic of a skull with a sombrero on the trunk.
