Need a Chevy Silverado part number

1989 Silverado K1500 4x4 1/2 ton
5.7L auto

I need the GM # for the two transmission fluid cooler lines between the transmission and the radiator. One of the lines has a pinhole leak. Might as well replace both.

Thanks if you can help.

If no one chimes in sooner, I can get them for you tomorrow when I'm back at work.

Are these solid metal pipe the whole way, trans to rad?

If so, they may not have a part number. It may be a bend-to-fit with steel tubing.

Thanks, Carl. They're solid except for one of the rad ends that attaches to an extra cooler in front of the rad. I doubt it's factory, but who knows.

So, a steel line goes from the transmission to up beside the rad connection, where instead it converts to a hose going into the external cooler, then back into the side tank on the rad, then out a normal fitting and back through the second steel tube to the tranny.

If there are factory part numbers available, and even if they have fittings on both ends, I'll take them anyway. I can cut one fitting off to incorporate the extra cooler.

Thanks anyway, Carl. I'll have to bend some.
