On Saturday Dad in law and i drove the cars down to Simcoe for the Friendship Festival. I guess the really big show was Sunday. Nevertheless we ended up at the Phoenix Club for their 19th annual show. While small, some very cool cars. I missed getting a pic of the Chevelle wagon with the cowl induction hood and the 66 Chevelle Post car. Here's what i did get pics of...keep in mind maybe 20 cars at this show...
punched out 305 under the hood...nice guy, gave him my last CP card.
wasn't talking with the owner, but Beaumont convertible number 2 there.
father in law's 66...yep 20 cars approx and 3 Beaumonts...all convertibles! I'll have to take an updated pic of the car, guy at the show sold him some new centres.
70 cuda packing over 500 horses...owner hasn't run it down the track...says unless a car runs single digits just not worth it to him.
Yeah not many...probably closer to 30 all in the little area but wow the calibur of vehicles. I didn't mention the early T bird that was there, an old Willys, early 20's i'd be guessing, an old firetruck...not sure the year/make, a super clean 68 GTX with 440, 69 Dart, 56 Chevy 4dr, 500 plus hp shortbox GM truck and throw in that mine is a limited number car and it really was a car lovers paradise. For such a small show still got a car plaque and other stuff for registering. I'd definately consider going again...this was their 19th event.
