Oh my goodness, another "72 GTO convertible"!  They are all coming out of the woodwork now, they all must have been hiding in Canada all these years! rofl.gif

Looks like he has an original split manifold set up from the 50's on it.  I have the Clifford intake and headers my 6 banger 70 Cutlass.

What are the details on the the 6 in a row dragster beside it?  Same owner?

It looks like a cool show.  Held the same time every year?  Might be a good excuse for an eastern Ontario CP get together.wink

We also ran into rarechev. his misses was sporting a CP T-shirt.

Its a camping car show weekend. free draft till its runs out friday night. also fireworks and a corn boil that night. sat supper was a roastbeef dinner put on by the host club. only drawback is because it held on the museums grounds at the lake its not a regular campground, so no running water or electricity.

I'm game, i'll be doing it again next year. Maybe Todd will have an excuse to get a camper. mines a 70 citationette with original panelling and curtains.

Great show again, lots of pics to follow, MEt Dan, was probly well into the beverages by then so i hope i wasn't rude....confuse, By the way, how many cars did you have up there? WAs the 66 as well as that yellow malibu yours? Good lord your stuff is clean and perfect, (hoping i wan't far to intoxicated and confused about what you were driving...causing much embarasment lol)  Anyways, drank way to much, made an ass of myself repeatedly, car ran great, took lots and lots of abuse and made it nearly 800kilometeres on two tanks of gas. with zero issues.....drove home in a monsoon and everything worked great....thanks guys and will throw pics up tommorow...

Lol, well your car's were some of the cleanest and well put together there, I took some pics of your 66 and my wife was in love with it and she is not a car person at all. Yah the Karaoke was fairly ammusing, never done that before and it was very much beer fueled. If the t-bone was a blue pickup with a trailer it was my step brother. He couldnt get it stopped at a stop sign and got hit fairly bad.  Truck was demo'd and he was pretty shook up. But home safe and sound now. Hope you had a good weekend and next year we will get together for beers up there for sure.
Dave
