ive heard of that place, im going to give them a call and see if they do the hair for cancer patients there. I grow it long every year and then chop it so this sounds like the place to do it.

I'm sure they will do it. Tom, the owner is a member on here.

Here is a promo video he did. It's a neat concept.

Hey guys this shop happens to be one of my best buddies and he has been dreaming about this type of place for years. He is a true to the bone car guy and is a really good barber, he is nervous about starting a new buisness (first timer) i hope he gets the support.

I too am in the process of growing my hair to donate. My sister spent 5 months in hospital and had her thigh-bone replaced with a cadaver bone, but the hardest part on her was the fact she was going to lose her hair. I told her I'd shave my head and go through it with her but she said to
me, "Don't do that Frankie. Your hair has always been part of your identity." So I told her then I'd go the other way and grow it long enough to donate. I've been told the pony tail has to be a minimum of ten inches long. Who really knows for sure? One last thing before I finish here, just to give you guys some idea of why she made the comment she did. For my Mum & Dad's 25th wedding anniversary, when I was 16, I went and got a haircut as a surprise. When I walked in the
house, which was full of well-wishers, my Dad took one look at me, walked over and grabbed his humidor and started passing out cigars and saying to everyone: "IT'S A BOY!"
