I wouldn't pause to long on this one.  sounds like a reasonable price to me.

Worst part is I know some people only about 25 miles away.

Also, have a friend here who grew up in that area. By coincidence it may even be a relative of his selling this car as I see my friend and this guy share the same last name.

Just what I need right now, another car............

I am sure his original ad was for $5000, was it not? I too e-mailed him and I got the same response as ICON. But IMHO, this car should not be parted/harvested for its front clip or powertrain!

I am sure there is someone out there that will buy it and do it justice. ICON, there should be lots of 2 and 4 door cars out there that you can get the header assembly, bumper, rad support if needed and tail panel with tail lamps to convert yours over! There was the remains of one for sale in Winnipeg a while back but it was too far for me at the time..... But, they are out there!!!!

I'm in a bad spot with the 67 I have, I love this style but I have to much money into mine, and his needs wayy more work then mine ever did.. 5 grand sounds like a good price if that was the case I might have even concitered restoring it and keeping mine as a daily driver.

He and I were dealing on it at $5,000 so yes, that was the price. Not sure about now but I just can't see myself buying a car that needs everything at this point.

Plus my heart is still in a 66 4 speed car, not a 67. But yes, the starting price was certainly $5,000.

Hey Vince if you don't want my 67 GP maybe I should sell it to Icon.  Its a lot more suitable to part out than this one.

He says it needs a full engine overhaul too. It ran but needs gone through.

I see it has a high teens car by the time it is done, assuming a person does most of his own work, that is...

Would be a good MNO car.
But to do it for 15 is a little optimistic isn't it?
Would it not have to a full rotisserie? No body on for this low prod CP.
All the Trim, chrome...everything. My head aches thinking about the commitment. hmm

But for 5 grand.  Grab it and sit on it.
