Will this displace the quest for the "right" 67 Poncho project Bob?

Gotta admit, it would make an awfully nice "support" vehicle for the Vette.wink

No. One reason is that it's too nice. I really am looking for a project. My problem is that I want one of everything.

Nice 55 Delivery!

I've always had a '67 Canadian Pontiac project dream car too..
The 'right' one for me would be a last year Strato Post w/ Hideways, obviously it'd have the unavailable for '67 L72 w/ a stick, G80 12Bolt Posi and F41 to get the rear sway bar..
It'd be Black w/ a bench and Radio delete also factory bumperettes..
Steelies w/ dog dish caps of course...no fancy boy rims or rings to fly off!.

Don't know about '67 CPs, but the supposedly "unavailable in '67" L-72 was absolutely available as a COPO. I know the original owner of a real '67 SS427 L-72. He resides just north of Detroit in Washington, MI.

His career (now retired) includes working as an engineer under God (Zora Arkus-Duntov), among many other prestigious positions in automotive manufacturing.

Yes I know a few made it through even though they weren't an RPO for '67 and I recall seeing a tag w/ 'Special' on it from one of the Chevys produced w/ the L72..
Love to see more on your original owner friend's L72 SS427 car!.

I do love 55 Chevys too, and a nice SD is one of the best.
