It's a zoo I tell ya, a ZOO!

That sums up our household. Two cats, about 50 fish in the pond now, a frog,  and Einstein our C-ockatiel (I have to separate the C from the O or the board thinks I'm swearing!) . Well, Connie (ok and I) felt Einstein could use a friend so here he (or she- it's hard to tell) is:

Connie named him Kiwi (they are Australian birds).  Laurentian would have been nice but he's not the right shade of Mayfair Maize!biggrinHe is only a few weeks old and therefore doesn't have his crop yet. Quite a friendly little bird. C-ockatiels are extremely smart. Einstein has taught himself quite a few words and is quite good at forming different sentences. Every morning when he sees us for the first time he says "Hello Einstein!" I hope Kiwi learns to speak as well.

Anyone else have a zoo like ours?

5 cats and about a hundred guppies and a bunch of mooching birds and deer.  We have a deal now that keeps both of us in check.  I get another car, she gets another cat. (I get a parts cars she gets a dead cat.)

Easily the most spoiled animal in our house is Taz (named after the Tazmanian Devil on Loony Toons). she is the "Paris Hilton" type and feels the world revolves around her. She is easily the smartest cat I have ever seen. She'll come into our room during the night and whines for food. If we don't respond she'll hop up onto the dresser and start knocking Connie's perfume bottles onto the floor!

Carl, your're right, I was told by a breeder that it's pronunced (shee-zoo) not **** zoo
but great dogs, ours runs the house.

One 20 pound (no fat), 2 foot long male cat named SuperFuzz. He's a mouse killer, and is actually more dog than cat.

All kinds of outdoor life (foxes, hares, raccoons, skunks, weasels, mice, shrews, coyotes, eagles, hawks, chickadees ... well you get the picture ... we live in the boonies!

        Nice to see you as well smile   The Chinese were too polite, to name a Dog **** anything  lol   look at all dog lists of breeds  no **** zoo's
