Great summer for a convertible

Was just commenting last week to 64 Rag (Brian) how good a summer it's been for a vert.  I put my top down in early May and it hasn't been up once since.  I probably drive it an average of 5 days a week with a few weeks it's gone every day.  Got caught in one little shower that settled the dust on her but that's it.  Have put on close to 3 thousand miles so she's a driver.  Top of my skin head is a little browner.  Thought I'd just share the fun I've had with my 4 wheeled motorcycle.

Same here with my 65 SD rag. Probably the most miles that I have put on in a summer in the last 7 years. 64-65 Beaumonts rags are cruizers.

if you lived in Ontario this summer, leaving the top down would have the interior overflowing with water by now ! on the bright side the grass is green

Hmmm.... i'd have to drill holes in the floor to let the rain flow thru... a very unusually wet summer here, but if its not raining the top is down!

I'm starting to think i should be building an arc....

Hi Jerel,
My buddy in Kingston says he had more use for his boat this summer than his 65 chevelle rag

Whoa Kim

You'll be healthier for it, less sun damage, and your stereo will sound a whole lot better.  Are you planning to go to the Langley show?  I will probably give it a shot unless the weather really goes crazy.

The Lemay show is out for me this weekend. My son is playing Football all weekend. There's 6 teams and depending on how they play I might get to a car show.
There's a Nation wide cruise night at A&W this thrusday for MS

Top down all winter down here and no threat of rain smile.gif

But I do recall many summers in assorted ragtops in Wisconsin / Minnesota / Illinois and ... enjoy it when you can!!!!
