Just like in the US, eBay is now reporting seller info to Revenue Canada.. As understood from some US guys I've talked to in the past, eBay's 'Power Seller' moniker is a good sign you're in the club that get's reported..
thats gonna hurt some people for sure, wonder how they are gonna justify thier high shipping charges as well, thank god I was just a buyer when I was active
Unfortunately I know a CRA auditor.......this has been in the works for two years and don't even ask how many NEW staff they hired. For guys like us who buy and sell the odd old car part, no worries. If it's your business that's a different kettle of fish.

This is one instance where I actually support what the government is doing. I know several people who make a full time living selling stuff on ebay, and haven't reported any of their income doing it. Needless to say, when I look at what get's knocked off my paycheque each two weeks, and these guys are paying absolutely nothing and getting the same benefits and services, I don't think it is exactly fair that these guys are getting a totally free ride.
