I've also seen Buick rally caps, same base with Buick emblem centres. Did not buy them because I did not have a Buick at the time.

Have a look at the photos below, I don't see the word Pontiac appearing on these cars either.

SD , ya that's it. Anyway the cars I show both have prominent arrowheads on the body work, I suppose seeing that an arrowhead logo is synonomous with Pontiac it was unnecessary to spell out the word when the arrowhead was so obvious wink

hmmm, so back at the ranch-young Bob in 67 heaven (VW) is still likely wondering why theres no arrowhead or Pontiac logo in them center ornaments

Probably because they were used on B Body and A body cars that had similar but different logos.

I see I've completley lost control of this thread.  O well.  Lets just say whatever rally wheel you run it'll be cool and correct.  Just to sum up what I know is that for 67 a 15 x 5 wheel with the low profile disc brake cap is correct.  (15 x 6 for wagons) For 68 and up 15 x 6 is correct with the big mexican hat centre with the disc brake stamping. As far as I know you could get rallys until the end of 1970 in the big pontiacs?

How on that?

I thought the Canadian Pontiacs only had the small (flat) centres all the way to the end of 70. I had never seen any large caps on the Pontiacs, only Chevys. (or do I not understand what is meant here?)

 I agree

I have seen tall caps on 70's with no writing but they coulda been those early aftermarket ones

Or those caps from the GMC Sprint (Camino) which were tall but no name.

That would be good because it sounds like you are talking about something I've never seen!

This is what I think is the small cap/ Big cap(little sombrero we always called them)

I thought the little caps were 67 only and the sombreros were 68 and up

I only had chev ones handy but the the pontiac/sprint ones were the same except blank.

Is that right?

I'm having a little trouble sorting all the wheat from the chaff in this thread. Can we at least agree on some basics?

Please answer the follwing questions.

1. Are these the correct centres for 1967 CP B-body?

2. Correct for CP B-bodies for other years? If so, which years?

3. Correct for Beaumont? If so, which years?

4. Correct for Acadian? If so, which years?

Thanks.

I hope this helps, a no script big sombreo style that 66 Grande guy refers to. I took this one in June. It was on a Sprint.

I believe on Chevy, little caps only for 67.

On Canadian Pontiac, little caps from 67-70.

As always, willing to be corrected!

1) Yes

2) 67-70

3) Yes, 67

4) I think the answer is yes, 67 only.

Yes, those are the ones I was referring to a few posts back. I never knew they existed until John Preikschat from near Regina showed up at POCI one year with them on his B body. I heard him telling someone they were Sprint caps.
