Met at the beer tent at noon. Some Hollywood pics were taken of a great bunch, awaiting processing.
I'll try to remember everyone:
Stephenzone, Invader Wagon, Gus, Astro Jet, Ian, Ken, 87 Player Bird, ARCADIAN I think that's it.
Great day for a swap meet, too bad there was a shortage of Pontiac, Beaumont and Acadian parts. (lots of snowmobile and motorcycle parts) and SOCKS!

It was a beautiful day for a swap meet.  I spent more time socializing this year than ever before and yet still managed to pick up a few things, 69-72 Pontiac chrome lid dual snorkel, 3.55 ring and pinion for the Green Monster, brand new wiper motor, a couple of flowmaster knock-offs from Al and various other odds and sods - can't beat work pants for $5!  Thanks to Al and all the Timmins crew at their site for their hospitality all day long!

, later I misplaced my phone and was unable to contact Hillar for the hubcaps because of this (sorry Hillar) found the phone ringing under the wheels in the back of the truck at 8:00 pm tonight !

No problem Ken, I tried to call you around 6 but figured you were just working on a deal for another car!  We can try again for Waterdown or Ancaster.

BTW, Ian has graciously offered to have a BBQ after Ancaster at his place which is basically a stone's throw away from the new grounds.  Any interest boys?  We should take up a collection for some burgers and suds then.

the Tim Horton's 40th ann beach cruiser bike-he said $150-I tried $100 hoping for the $125 return-I've had a couple in the past-I have a new one in the box but I was thinking about putting a motor on one.

Anyway I bought a mountain bike so I could ride around and look for Hillar after misplacing my phone-no luck-up one bike no hubcaps-better luck next time !

That's a laugh!  I spent most of the afternoon riding that Tim Horton's Cruiser bike around the swap meet after Al's friend Paul who owned it said take it for a spin, and if someone offers you $150 for it, you're walking back!!!  Well a couple of guys looked at it pretty hard, but no offers, in the meantime, they had sold it back at the spot, when I got back, the new owner was sitting there waiting for it, they were just about to send a search party out to see where the heck I was!biggrin

I was there on saturday and got a lot of good stuff.

A pair of 57' Pontiac quarter panels for $75 each was the best score!
