I've met Aubrey personally, it's a shame ,but Karma has a way.

I had business dealings as well,, I sold my 62 Parisienne to a gentleman from New York,, Aubrey took the car and converted it over to a 409 4 spd. There was a lot of negative energy over that one. I ended up in the middle of a nasty situation. In the end ,, the car was delivered to New York. On a Mechanical note, he is great with engines.

Aubrey and the fellow from New York did not part as friends , I was caught in the middle of it, the original agreement they had , wasn't honoured.

Anyways......

If he's lying, car guy or not whatever punishment he receives won't be enough to make up for the lives ruined also conspiring w/ the likes of the scumbags involved in these activities..

I hope those of us who've emailed w/ Aubrey about car related subjects don't end up on any watch lists?.

that is my old car,, I heard Billy was thinking of selling .

it as a72'000 mile grandma car 261 glide. I did the body and paint and a tommy 2 can rebuild under the hood !!

very sweet car.

here it is when I sold it .

Billy later painted the roof body color and added the steelies, I love it either way!!

I remember that. It got played out on Aubrey's new site after he dropped the yahoo site. Last I remember was that Aubrey pulled down Billy's posts. I always wondered if Aubrey was having problems because none of his customer car projects seemed to be progressing - at least not according to the updates on his site. Sure seemed knowledgeable about W motors though ....

Who knows - sometimes you have to take the path of least resistance. In many cases like this you actually only serve one-sixth of the sentence.

Here's a link to a very detailed story about the whole deal. Interesting - but I don't know if it's accurate. Either way it's a sad outcome for Bruneau and his family.

I hate to be saying this Carl, but it's no surprise, afterall Winnipeg was at the top of the list in McLean's rankings of the top ten highest crime cities in Canada. cry

That's mostly murders. They have a real issue with gangs and "other" problems.

Also, it seems this fellow liked rural Manitoba for it's seclusion. He was in Manitoba's cottage country, just a bit northwest of Whiteshell Park. Likely was there to keep a low profile.
