Paper work shows 350hp. Were these just 325 hp ? Q-jet , no Holley ?

I was discussing that with him. He had never heard that but I know I have read they were cast intake, Q jet. It was new to him but he has only had this car a short time.

Looks like a great looking show!!!

For those of you that maybe unsure about your cameras for tag pictures, just sent this little note to C1.........

Hey Carl!!! I did the same when I first started taking them but then I figured it out!! I set my camera on "close up-for objects closer than 24" and it works great.

noticed that too. confuse

'68 L79s were rated at 'only' 325hp and came with a cast iron intake and Qjet.

the show was at Garden City Shopping Centre, in Winnipeg... I know the owner of the black 67... he's had the car since 1970, non-original motor, now 454/th400 (was 396/2sp). He rarely pulls the car out, but has driven it a few times this year... he is looking for a 1967 396 to swap into the car... I noticed someone gave him a CP card on his dash...

I came home from Nestor Falls and made it out there around 2:30, most of the cars were still there, the announcer said close to 1500 cars...

The gasser is for sale for $4k...i think it was posted on here a couple of months ago...

With Vern's car being such a common year, model and colour you likely walked right by it............. rofl.gif

Yea that has to be it.  It just blended in with all the other 57 wagons that were there. LoL

Vern's the only one I ended up running into, I saw a few other's cars but no one around.

Last year was the first time I went to this show and the weather wasn't great but there was still quite a few cars compared to normal cruise ins...
But this year... man there were a ton of cars. Not one spot empty when I strolled through.

Thanks for the shot of the 52 two door. I spent close to a couple of hours talking with him. He's going to keep the 239 in it and do a mild drop.
