I was discussing that with him. He had never heard that but I know I have read they were cast intake, Q jet. It was new to him but he has only had this car a short time.

For those of you that maybe unsure about your cameras for tag pictures, just sent this little note to C1.........
Hey Carl!!! I did the same when I first started taking them but then I figured it out!! I set my camera on "close up-for objects closer than 24" and it works great.

noticed that too.
'68 L79s were rated at 'only' 325hp and came with a cast iron intake and Qjet.
the show was at Garden City Shopping Centre, in Winnipeg... I know the owner of the black 67... he's had the car since 1970, non-original motor, now 454/th400 (was 396/2sp). He rarely pulls the car out, but has driven it a few times this year... he is looking for a 1967 396 to swap into the car... I noticed someone gave him a CP card on his dash...
I came home from Nestor Falls and made it out there around 2:30, most of the cars were still there, the announcer said close to 1500 cars...
The gasser is for sale for $4k...i think it was posted on here a couple of months ago...
Lots of great cars, Took me about two hours to walk the rows. I got some pics but but there seems to be a problem with uploading pics . I have tryed three times and will not work. Never had a problem before.

Cool. Good to have a contact for the owner of the oldest 738 car in the registry!
I wonder who gave him that CP card...............

Vern's the only one I ended up running into, I saw a few other's cars but no one around.
Last year was the first time I went to this show and the weather wasn't great but there was still quite a few cars compared to normal cruise ins... But this year... man there were a ton of cars. Not one spot empty when I strolled through.
Sorry I missed you Vern. It was the first time I got to see your 57 up close. Man nice job super clean and my bubdy liked the stuff in the back. That is one nice more door for sure!
Great shots almost like I went to the show. Beaumontguru help me out here. That looks like that show I did with you back in 2004 when I was on vacation going to Ottawa.
Is it the same show, your comments about a group leavng from your place at 9:00 AM make me think that it is.
Say how you doing anyways.
