appraisal every five years-similar coverage-a lot of custom cars have switched-originals are cheaper too-never heard bad stories about either broker-I have customer's at both (Lant or Whetter Oaklin)

With about 2 months left on my coverage I tried to change over to Oaklin Whetter ( to save some $), got the car reappraised, sent documents, several discussions -3 days before my insurance expires with Lant, Custom Wheel (who I had sent a letter to informing them I was canceling my coverage) the guy phones and says they aren't interested in insuring my car (due to an accident I was involved in with my truck 5 years earlier and with no charges). I was not impressed, Not a very good way to do business , staying with tried and true Lant.

I'm with Lant however once the 454 gets installed I'll likely have to switch to modified coverage due to the headers etc. I might shop next year.

I'm with Lant through the regional agent in Atlantic Canada - called silver wheels policy. Service has always been good. I have 3 cars to be appraised before renewal in October.
