So does any one on here have a '60's Pontiac with the factory reverb radio still in it with the dash switch? I haven't seen one for years. Last car I remember having it in was my 66 2+2 when I lived in N.S. back in the 70's. Car was rusted out then and not worth saving, but it did have some neat options. Somebody must have a picture of one?

. Found this pic of a 65 GTO. Reverb switch is underneath. On the Canadian 2+2 it was up above my radio -- Edited by eeluddy on Tuesday 15th of September 2009 08:26:15 PM

Looks like one of those cool old front/rear speaker switches I remember from my teen years (the 70's)
Yep, you're right ... my Dad had one.

other switches included: Power Top (up/down), Rear Window (up/down), Power Antenna (up/down), Fader (Front/Rear). I'm not sure about defrost.
In 69/70 full size cars the switches were rocker switches on the left side of the shift indicator, above the headlight switch. I think 69 was the last year for reverb.
Listen to an old "Ventures" song if you want to hear reverb, especially "Walk Don't Run" the 1964 version which is more guitar than their 1961 version.
And the white knob shown in the blue GP was a fader that was available at Radio Shack. Probably fed some old Craig Powerplay 6x9's on the rear package shelf.
