Practicing for close ups

I just recently got the feel for taking body tag photos but I was practicing close ups today just to try and get better at it. Before I erase my practice shots I thought some were interesting enough to post. I used two of my Cadillacs and 65Camino's Mustang.

Looking good. They say that when taking these shots it helps to use as high a shutter speed as possible which creates "bokeh", adding to the 3D effect... (Oh yeah, and a Pontiac subject)

Yeah, good eye.  The daily driver.  Actually not a bad car.  Picked it up second hand.  Nice size, lots of headroom, North American made, and a standard trans which the wife knows how to drive but can't stand (which works out okbiggrin).  Killer for parts and "workability", but the upside is that it's rear wheel so you can drive it, as opposed to it driving you...

PS  The Beau gets the lone spot in the garage.

I was always impressed by the CTS when I worked at the Caddy dealer. I like the 04's as they came with the St. Catherines built 255hp 3.6 with variable valve timing and dual exhaust.
The CTS is more European in feel which turned off a lot of traditional Caddy owners.

Love that Torino. I had a 70 Cobra 429 years ago. The only car I ever owned 3 times.

What's that color and paint type on the Cougar? It's very cool! Might look good on my GrandVille.

Cool Mustang!

No offense, but I thought if this thread was going to die, it should end with a Cdn Poncho shot.  Therefore...

Now we're talking.

I'm embarrassed to say, at first I didn't even recognize the 66 SD louvers in your avatar!

Yeah, it's the "fisheye" 180 degree wide angle that distorts everything.  It makes for some good interior shots as well...(Clearly I need to find an original wheel!)
