There is a car show at the home center across from the timmies by the 401 here in Ingersoll on sun sept 27 from 10-4 anybody going,lets try to arange a group of us to be all together with our shirts to show the size of our club. I'll try to get the 63 there for its first showing since its release
This is usually an excellent show. This year I hear they plan to close the cul du sac that surrounds the store and use it for the show as well. It would be a perfect place for all Poncho folks who live within 90 minutes of here to get together. The location is about 30 seconds north of the 401 on Culloden Rd.
Map Quest shows 1 hr. 55 minutes for me at 105 miles. I have a game starting at 1:30 usually run until 3:00 pm so unfortunately it is a no go for me, would have loved to have made it though. As a Consolation I can make the Big Cadillac Show at City Cadillac which is about 10 minutes from the arena. Usually I drive the Deville but I may take the Fleetwood out.
i hope to be there, got alot of stuff going on that weekend but i can hopefully squeeze a car show in there. This will be the longest trip for the 59, it hasent made it out of London yet!! Maybe shine up your tow truck instead Tiny!!
The owners of the Home Center weren't in when I stopped by the store, but I did talk to some people who worked at the store and they didn't see a problem with roping off a section for the Poncho group. I will be there early parked in between Tim Horton's and Glassford's, across from the motel. We should have lots of room, there are going to be other car clubs there also.
I read in the local paper that they are expecting 500 cars! If any of you in the area are free Sunday it may be well worth the drive. Like Brian says it looks like Canadian Poncho is going to have it's own area.
