 bingo ! thats how I like them mid years too-66 has no vents in the sail panels-fender louvers look great ! my 66 was a big block 4-speed PW,teak,knock offs, outsiders, leather, tele, etc...

As you all know, the now-cancelled Cadillac XLR was built in the same Bowling Green plant as Corvette. It's not hard to see the styling influence.

That will sure to be a great investment!  Face it folks, the XLR was an unmitigated disaster.  I have never even seen one on the street in Canada.  I personally hope the C7 does not look anything like the XLR/concept, I think that front end is hideous on a Vette.

Ever tour that plant in Bowling Green? I did a couple years ago, pretty neat experience. The XLR is an awesome package but it still does not compare to a ZO6 in my mind....

A member of my Rotary Club has a red XLR for summer and a red CTS for winter. So I have even sat in one. He is wealthy but even he questions why he has the $104,000 topless Cadillac.
