I know nothing about it but saw it and thought it looked pretty cool.

Cool ? I'll say! I can't remember the last time I saw a '61 Poncho wagon, let alone a V8 Parisienne.

It sure looks good, doesn't it?

I thought too, even for a wagon parts car the price looks good and it doesn't look to be just a parts car.

Could be tough to find a good tailgate for a car like that.

If I was in Manitoba or Sask  I'd snap it up!  It looks way too nice to be a parts car but it seems to be priced like one.  And speaking as a redneck it could be a real good storage shed until you feel like fixing it.  I've seem smaller sheds that cost more money.

Anyone know the ball park price on shipping a car from Brandon to Ontario?

i can fly there for $175, i wonder if it would make the 1300 miles home?

i think the tailgate dents give it character

Talked to the guy yesterday the car has been siting for 26 years he bought it 3 years ago said he has not had it running this year but has had it running in the past water pump leaks floors are solid. But I have not seen it just going by what the owner said. If I can find the time I will be going to look at it if its not sold. Thought it would make a great repo of a old drag car

That's a lot of car for a measly $1000. I like the idea of making it in to an old drag wagon replica.

With it selling that cheap, someone should pull the trigger soon. Sending a deposit might not be a bad idea.

I know a guy who lives in Brandon, works in Winnipeg. If someone is serious I can see if he is home this weekend and available to check it out. He's a car guy so should have a pretty good idea what to look for.

That is a sharp wagon you have there GA. You shouldn't have any problem selling it.

you Ontario guys kill me worrying about driving an old car more than about 10 miles.  If you would have seen the rust buckets that Ontario people drove out west here in the late 70's and early 80's, you'd change your tune.  Not only were we amazed they made the trip out here, but they drove them around here for a couple years sporting their expired Ontario plates.  1300 miles is an easy 2 day drive, and at this time of year it's not too hot out.
