Finally Home!

After 2 weeks, the Big 67' is finally in my drive!

A nice 2 hour drive down the 401, through some showers (the little wipers are comical arn't they?).

A quick clean up and out for a cruise this evening. Lots of thumbs up.

The wife says it smells like it's leaking exhaust into the car, yes, it probably is dear, well you better get that fixed. It will need duals honey. Ok, do whatever you have to...ok dear.wink

It has a small oil leak spraying back onto the pipes I think. The car will for sure need  at least new front suspension bushings, she's a little loose. The alternator is rattling a little.
All in all she runs beautiful! You can even here a little rumble hidden way in there with the 10:1. And if you hit her right, she sings, although you poison everyone behind you doing so!

I'm drivin' and I'm happy!

Congratulations. It'd be great to score diplomatic plates like this for cruise-in shows.

Twice I've tried to post something on this thread, (this is 3rd try,) and I can't seem to. What's up with this?

One more try to say what I really want to---

Diplomat car or not, I can envision Lester B climbing out of a car just like this in Ottawa many years ago!

You could start with this guy. He's got an impressive plate collection and is always buying, selling and trading.

Very nice. My wife had a car like the white one in the brochure.  She loved that car.

It would be interesting to see if the year of manufacture thing would allow diplomatic plates
