Got back around 12:30pm For me it wasn't a success, I didn't sell or buy anything, not too many car nuts showed up, cold and drizzly, rainy, oh well better luck next spring. I managed to go look at a 1964 Pontiac Grandprix 421 tripower project car, engine was gone but the 3.90 posi rearend is still in the car, must have been a hell of a car back in the day, the car is located in Morden MB and he's asking $3500, red exterior black interior, buckets-console... pretty rusty.
Glad you had a chance to look at the GP... shows you how much I know about those body styles. I though it was a '66 or '67 when I mentioned it to you earlier. I never stoped to look at it but from the road it's a nice looking 2 dr ht.
Yeah, the swap meet was a very small turnout but at least I left with some parts.
I looked at the GP too. Cool that he documented it and it's a 421 tripower (six pack, in his words!) car even though the engine is gone. The 8 lug wheels sure looked fine. No camera or I would have posted pics.
I scored a valve spring compressor for 5 bucks at the swap meet so I was pretty happy. I always borrow one and they are hard to find.
