"i cant shift" the 69 or 70 zed

Did you use the pedal on the left?  It works better using it...

Tough market-high end stuff not moving, low end stuff slow.

my 63 Chev would have been an easy $5500 car five years ago, today well I've had two guys look at it and a third that said he'd buy it and pick it up last monday (which came and went) $3900 for a cool old classic that can be driven ? I took it to soccer with the kids-it sure stands out !

The 64 Pontiac is a bargain ! I bought it without even looking at it-you can't get anything for $1500 ! I know they are both more doors buttt.

theres a right buyer for everything-I'm sure this Z can sell-Put it on your front yard with a big For Sale sign-theres a lot of traffic there

I've tried, lookie loos, with will ya take 1500$? The trany and shifter are worth more than that. Guess I'll stop trying to sell it and be like those guys that park 'em and forget 'em. Another 10 years it'll be why won't he sell it instead of leaving it under all that junk in his garage stories.

im to the same point, hang some quarters on it do an engine up and drive it, for what ive been offered you cant build it for that and im not giving it away dont like camaros this vintage and they are real cars, i prefer the pontiacs but i might have to get used to it.

My car does not need quarters, it has a few dents on the roof, and a door ding. Bump for a new spring.

I would put the stock rims back on this car to sell it and a set of 245/60's , drop the backend down and you will be surprised I think

I used to have to production numbers from the historical package I got for my 80 Z, but I let them go with the car when I sold it. This is all from memory, and I might be wrong... I believe there was about 8000 Canadian Z's (Zeds?) Of those, only 16% were stick shift. That would make around 1300 4 spd canadian Z's. Mine was a 4 speed T top car. 1 of 80.

Hey racerrick........how correct do you think that the 1 of 80 T-top 4spd Z28 number is? Do you recall seeing it somewhere recently or is it from memory? I would like to find that info out.......thx....Doug.
