RE: Anyone have a Dodge?

My biggest fear Todd is now that you have such a rare, unique Dodge it is going to become your first priority and this site will be neglected by you. Honestly, you've done so well with this I'd hate to see you part with your Pontiac to focus on the new car.

And yes, I am not playing fair because I post this online for all to see rather than tell you in a PM where only you will see it.....

I play dirty when I get selfish! We need you HERE!

Todd, you have eclectic tastes. That Dodge is very neat ... but probably as far away from a Pontiac as you can get. Congrats on your unique find.

No worries. I still love my Poncho and my website. I've been told by both my wife and son that the Laurentian is going nowhere. It may go in storage so I can make room to repair the Dodge. I'll likely get the Dodge to the point of being able to drive it and take it to a few cruise nights and sell it to someone with the resources to give it the resto it deserves.

I have always found that Pontiac and Dodge are very similar cars from different manufacturers.
In fact during the '50s' thru the 70's Pontiac was the car Chrysler used as a benchmark to compete against with the Dodge. They never achieved thier sales goals and it was generally acknowleged they couldn't beat Pontiac. It's funny that I happen to like both of those brands too, but I'm a little weird in my automotive tatses also. Studebaker or Porsche, anyone? (other than Todd)

I get that. Although I have had tons of GM cars, and a couple of Fords, I've only had one Mopar - a really crappy 72 Dodge Dart Swinger. But one of my all time favorite muscle cars is the 69 Coronet Super Bee 440 six pack. Unfortunately, like the 454 70 Chevelle, they are so expensive that I will never own either - but they are beautiful cars.

Good, thank you.

And remind me to get your wife and son something special for Christmas this year!
