RE: what did you do in your garage / shop and or driveway today ?

Took a brand new gas tank, and chopped it up (gulp). Made new mount for in-tank fuel pump. Drank beer.

Moved all my spare windshield glass onto the new rack.  I will move some cars & engines around on Monday to make better use of the space before winter sets in.

Will soon be off to the in-laws for Thanksgiving dinner (we do it on Sunday).

I attempted to make some space in my garage for two cars until I had a visit from Mark and his SWEET 67 GP. He also brought me a shop manual he picked up at Hershey for the Dodge and gave me a hand moving my sandblast cabinet.
This car has "roadtrip" written all over it!

That's CP member Elludy (Earl) and Mark on the right.

I love the notes the 2nd owner put in the engine bay to keep track of maintenance:

Fantastic floors:

It was a real privilege to go for a ride in this car. It runs, drives and feels like a new car. Not even a wind noise which is common 4 door hardtops. Great score Mark!

What I did in the garage today was GET THE 56 OUT OF THE GARAGE! http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=118110&p=3&topicID=31491798

However I now have additions to the list of things to do back in the garage smile.gif

I was lucky enough to spot Mark's car sitting behind Todd's on my way back from Turkey Point.
I want to thank Mark for taking me along for a ride. As Todd remarked very quiet for a 4 dr. hardtop

It was a real pleasure finally taking some fellow CP'ers for a spin in the GP. Nice meeting you Earl.
A great drive back, a good long run like that really seems to do a old car good. Running totaly silent and smooth when I got back.

Oh, and my driveway job today was to clean the car up for the trip, and install some leftover poly front stabilizer links. Every little bit counts!

Today I took the 79 T/A back to the storage garage to put away for the winter. Drove it twice this year. Fired up the Porsche, pumped up a flat tire and now it's sitting with battery charger on it. Waiting to go back into storage this week. Drove it twice this year also. Then I fired up the red GTA to move it for storage, never drove it this year. Kind of a waste, eh?

Got the sleds running today. The white stuff will be here soon. For any of you guys that have never ridden a sled you don't know what your missing. If you think a 100 MPH is fast in a car or a bike driving down the highway try it in a ditch full of snow can't wait

You better load that puppy up and take it to Vancouver, seems like you're spending quite a bit of time there.  Winters coming early I think and you'll need something to keep you occupied!

Good to see that cat on patrol there, no need to have any mice around helping to take care of your trailer for the winter.
