RE: what did you do in your garage / shop and or driveway today ?

1969 Kevin? Looks like it owing to the clutch pedal style.

And neutral safety?

Same thought I had as I was scrolling through. Definitely something 69 or newer with that clutch switch.

From this Kevin, it looks like yours is the arm on the right. The pedal stop is shaped to the outside or to the left of the pedal in position.

Pretty valuable pedal set by the look of it. Aren't the 69 pedals worth quite a bit more?

Heres two crappy shots from a 69,

The brake light switch and crossbar, and the shape of the dash end of the mount. I'd call it 69/70.

Not my shop, but someone else's,

My 65 seats are done! Done friendly, fast and at a good price. They look fantastic!! Vinyl looks almost the same, and the fabric pattern, while considerably lighter than original, looks 60's when viewed closer.

Exceeded my expectations!.

Shout out must go to Mario and crew at Apple Auto Glass in Oakville.

If in the GTA, go see Mario for your classic seat needs, you won't be sorry.

 x2.

Hey Todd, is there a way to move all the "pedal topic" to it's own thread?

That looks beautiful. The only thing missing in the picture is a 4 speed shifter handle!

Been making headway over the past couple of weeks. Cut out the lower section of the left rear quarter starting at the wheel well back about 18". My son made a one piece patch from 18 guage and shaped it in the 10 different directions of the original. Super impressed with his ability to do that!!! In 2 weeks time, we will cut the quarters off the donor car now that they are repaired. Cutting them off half way up, just behind the side body molding to hide the seam.

Frame already to go for blasting, just waiting on the appointment time. The back 4 holes for the body mounts were starting to get a little thin so we cut them out and replaced them with heavy, flat washers, that we shaped for each location. Hope to have the main floor plan installed by the end of the month. The donor body will then go outside for the winter to make room to treat the frame with POR 15 and begin assembly when it comes back from getting blasted.

I spent a couple hours yesterday at Allen Grants shop (one of Carrol Shelbys championship drivers from the mid 60s.). Had pictures last year when I went with a friend there. I was in the area yesterday and just happened to catch him and his good friend there who I also met last year. Spent most of the time with him as Allen has a full plate. His buddy is a photographer and a historian so lots to discuss. Great time waster. Really appreciate their history. A replica being done of his fathers truck.

I finally found an upholstery shop that it committed to doing my car. Ive had people look at the car and never got back to me.

i dropped off the seats yesterday with the dash pad. Sending the car in next week for headliner, door panels and rear arm rests.
(Im try to get it together for the World of Wheels Winnipeg at the end of March.)  WISH ME LUCK!AE77E656-C605-4541-A7F0-DBED3DE37E96.jpeg91D35D20-96B0-4AB5-B83F-BF10CD3442E7.jpeg

HHR SS lives again! After anti freeze started disappearing and ending up in the oil I learn these blocks are known to be pouris . Buddy of mine did some research and came up with this. 2 days of driving and anti freeze no longer disappears. Fingers crossed it last for 2 months while we wait for new car to arrive

it is the same color, but with a difference. I will have the Parisienne cloth inserts done to match the original interior.

My grandson wanted a new set of wheels. He went to the dealer and signed a deal. A few days later it snowed and he clipped the rear of a car. His car was not seriously damaged but due to the age of his vehicle the insurance wrote the car off. The net result he got 3000.00 more than the original bill of sale trade in value. He now has his 6 speed Hyundai because the dealer had to find him a 6 speed.
