just saw this car on the weekend, and I have to say it is beautiful.. the color isnt my first choice, but according to the owner.. it's one of 13. I'll try to list the options in it.. again.. It was confirmed that dealer options were installed in the day, and a really nice job done too.. Thanks to the gentleman who shared this with us as well..
there were 108 total L74 optioned (300 hp 327) including the chevelle ss in 65 (in canada of course).

Something isn't quite right. Why would there be a 66 gto tach in that cluster? My call is he probably ordered car with all the dealer installed stuff. Does he have the build sheet to prove this? It's a very nice car with alot of dealer installed stuff but I don't think it's factory. I would love to be proved wrong because this car is too sweet to be true. Don't get me wrong because I love it. Sell it too me now!!!!
yep.. I knew it would create some discussion for sure. He does have a build sheet for it, but I didnt get a chance to see it. He seemed like a really good guy too. I believe he's owned the car since 66 or 67, and bought it from his friend that ordered it from GM. I'll try to get the whole story from him at some point. the paint code on the cowl tag was "P"
the speedo and gauges were as well. I asked him about it. "thats the way it came". I know I have the 64 GTO tach, as do most other beaumonts that had them, but you never know if the dealer installed the whole dash from a 65.. same as the radio.. Pontiac am/fm
it's wild man..

Just one chubby guys opinion, but I think the Calgary one actually looks better with the hubcaps...

I know I'll be back to see it again.. even if some of the items didnt actually come from the factory in the day... I wish I had them for mine. again... it is a beautiful Mutt.. well put Ray.
My father in law had a 65 Impala SS in that color. It had a white interior and that meant a black rug, package tray and dash pad. 327 V-8 with powerglide on the console. bought the car in Alabama in about 1968-69
