2 1966 parisiennes 4 sale Manitoba $ 250.00 for both

My brother has had one car since he was 16 the other since he was about 20. He does not want to see them parted out. If that is going to happen he will do it him self. One has factory AC the other has 12 bolt and GP grill. Frame in 1 is rotten the other is good. The way he came up with $250 is thats what it cost him when the chain broke pulling them out and hit the windshield. If interested pm me and I will give you his PH#

it would be cool to add them to the registry? if anything happens to them we could still see what they were?

Vern, on the car with factory air, does it not have a hump top centre of the dash for an air outlet?

I can't see one and it should look like this---

Carl did you not have a GP, with A/C?  I have seen several U.S. cars with the hump  but never saw a  Cdn car disbelief

Yes, the one and only 66 Grande Parisiene with factory air on CP has the hump too.

I hate this. I think I know everything and then someone throws me a curve like Vern has with this air car!

Vern, do you know where the dash outlets are on this air car? Any dash photo to look at?

Hi guys i just got off the phone with Warren, (the guy) and he doesn't remember a hump in the dash.  He figure its a factory installation and it doesn't look messed with.  He's going to get back to me as I have told him I want to buy it for $250.00 alone.  (not both cars) as I couldn't promise him that I wouldn't use the other one for parts at some point.  That's the one he's attached to.  He's OK with that.  I'm planning to go get it ASAP(ie a couple of weeks) so I may stop and drop off a car at Vince's at Foam Lake that I promised to him.

My wife is even OK withe the idea of a long road trip!

I'll keep you guys posted

Good to hear his wife will be half happy. He had always had plans of doing something with them but you know how it goes. And when you have a 67 428 Grand Prix why bother

Yeah we were talking about it.  I guess he actually had that car and a 67 Grande Parisienne at the same time.  I'd love to see a picture of that!

It's all about keeping the wife happy though eh?

biggrin Nope, not a warning to stay away!!!

He is about 1/2 hour north of the city and we are about 1/2 hour south. I would think that this will be an excuse for a Canadian Poncho coffee time in Winnipeg, wouldn't you say?

Interesting to get a shot of the trim tag to see if C60 is listed at the bottom?? And a shot of the other as well.... And his Grande??? Long gone no doubt...

 Ken, sent a PM....!

The latest entries in this thread reminds me of a thought a ways back of adding those members that would agree of adding their addresses in the event of the need of help for trips like the one 66 Grande Guy is going to embark on... Any more on this undertaking????

Speakng of help, Vince, Warren did say that both those cars do not roll.  Thats how he ended up smashing out his truck windshield when the chain broke as he was pulling them.  (Maybe that's why they are going so cheap.

I'm going to have to break the back drums loose somehow and  probably take them off for the trip as well as bring some decent tires.  I think a big hammer will do the trick, but Waren says he'll give me a hand.  Sill if some of  the other guys want to help I'd welcome it as I will be very pressed for time.  I'm told it's 14 hours each way from my place with a  planned stop at Foam Lake to drop off the 67 2+2 for Vince on the way out.

We'll definitely post pictures of the trip if it all works out.

As long as it's not working hours I'd be glad to come up and help you load. I love the challenge of getting wrecks onto a trailer! Besides, I want to see these cars anyway!

Just let me know any tools/equipment I could supply.
