Hello guys, new to the Forum. I agree that UPS is a rip. When I needed a gas tank for my 62 GP, I had it shipped in the States to the UPS Store in Niagara Falls NY. By the way, it does not take the GM31 model that Canadian Pontiac's use. When it is sent there a phone number must be on the shipping label so UPS can phone to advise you a part is there. They charge an extra $10 ($15 for large packages) for receiving the parcel. Since I live in Brantford ON it is an hours drive there and back. No brokerage fees etc. The only time they really peeved me off was when I had 5 Runway wide whitewall tires sent there and they came 2 parcels of 2 packed together and 1 by itself, they charged me 2 X $15 plus 1 X $10, $40 for receiving them.

Jurassic,
Thanks for the Ebay tip. You should get a buddy to split the mailbox fees.
Parcels are no charge then. After 21 days they charge a fee per day.
Thats how it works in Port Huron . I think it is about $200/year.
