Ontario newb here...

Hi all, as it says, new guy from Ontario, (Ottawa) Been lurking around here for a bit and love it. Lot's of cool Knowledge and advice. I just bought  1970 Stratochief 2dr, 350 th350.  Zero options and as far as i can tell the nicest car i suspect i will ever own. 50000k and runs flawless, that being said im very sure that i will be doing gears, cam,   intake and carb, wheels, tires etc and will thoroughly screw it right up.  i will try not to drive everyone nuts with silly questions. Thanks in advance for all the help im sure i will get...
Dave

Can I suggest if you modify it that you keep the old stuff you remove? That is a bit of an unusual car I imagine. Low miles is a plus, no doubt.

Welcome Dave. I look forward to seeing photos of your Strato Chief. Where did you find it?

Welcome.  You should find all the answers that you need here. I do. Your answers may come out in some unreadable computer language until you have posted pictures. Just some glitch I guess. Drive it like you stole it!

Ha, Ha, I see C2, our official welcomer and greeter, has already beaten me to the punch.  Lots of 70 B body support on here, welcome to the ever expanding club!  Your car sounds like it would be the younger "brother" to mine. wink

I really like your car.

Welcome aboard from Washington State. Don't worry about silly questions. The group doesn't have any problem telling you you've crossed the line. They are really sincere in helping solve problems and informing you of the proper path to follow . Sometimes it is a multiple choice but that is also OK. You will always get an opinion and a good technical answer to assist you in your restoration or repair. I actually wish the U.S.A. had an American Pontiac forum as good as this one. The POCI Forum is hardly used and there threads are older than the hills. Enjoy
