Just confirms what has been discussed here in the past. Some Canadian cars came with 12 bolt diffs in the 6 cyl cars.

          I heard my B-body was built with a 4 arm 12 bolt,  aww because it was going to be a big block 'some day"   lol

Yes sir!   2.73 12 bolt     I talked to first owner of it (as a big block) last weekbiggrin   Was owned by 2 sisters in Toronto from 83 -91  They didn't like it, as it did not have p.s.!!    It was traded in to Parkhurst Motors, and employee there, added big block and BB springs and power brakes.. He bought it there, and actually got a job there as well. He painted it in 97  and raced it at Toronto and Moncton N.B.

car ran 13.40-13.50s at track with headers open (6 tenths) 2.73 no posi  P225/75R-14 CTC all seasons tires   350 trans used only 1-2  lol

I think that you may just find that if the car came with the F40 HD suspension, it also came with the 12 bolt. Don't quote me on that though.

That's the theory I'm going on. Every 12 bolt B body car I've seen with the large F40 front bar had a 12 bolt, whether it was a 6 cylinder or base V8.

Aslo same for Beaumonts, my 69 chassis information says 8.875 ring gear axle with 350's ,396's and when option F40 ordered. I would think Chevelle would be the same.

my car dId not have F40   but has 12bolt  confuse
