We had maybe 20 last night. SW Florida is still mostly retirees, not too many go out in their motorized wheelchairs to trick-or-treat
Eldest daughter & grandkids live on Scary Perry street in Kensington Maryland, the whole long block goes all out for decorations, live spook houses, giant spiders, mausoleum in the sewer, the TV news crews come out every year to film it, they have about 2000 with a 9PM cutoff !

Only 45 ghosts and goblins this year, and my kitty still hates it. The number seems to decrease every year, don't know why, maybe Bob scares them away with all his corny imitations of scary monsters. I think he does this just so that he can eat all the left over candy, yah right like he needs it.
We got our first since 2000. I didn't know what to do. I just stared at the dad you want me to share my candy. I always buy candy for the "kids" always my favorite , but have never had to share. I am 36 the wife is 31 we are the neighborhood kids. 9 we shut it down went to a party i was captain Riker the wife was Troi need the counciling after that tramatic experience.
about a dozen kids at our place in Lake Bonavista, however we were doing reno's in the basement until 6:30 and might not have heard the first few kids.
None, I guess I'll bring my candies to the kids at work tomorrow morning ie. the 20-30 year olds. LOL! Maybe the kids are scared of my small Amytiville look alike house ?
From a high of close to 100 kids about 15 years ago the #'s have been declining w/ a few ups and downs to this years all-time low...ONE!!! Yep just one kid.. But a happy kid w/ eyes wide open as a whole bowl full o' mini candy bars poured into his bag!.
