Favorite steering wheels of all time?

Came across a picture of a '65 Chevelle steering wheel the other day which I had to appreciate as one of the nicest looking I've ever seen (attached)!  As a result I thought it might be interesting to see what other classic steering wheels were made that deserve another look.  Therefore if anyone has any favorites that they want to post, I think it might be cool/groovy/far-out etc...

I've always liked GM's Deluxe Rosewood wheel. 67-70.

No question. 64 GTO wood wheel.

I can look for a pic tonight if 427 Carl doesn't post one sooner!

The GM Rosewoods have always been my factory favourites too but I always loved the 60's era aftermarket metallic colored ones as in the pics below!.

Does Todd's Mopar Batmobile happen to have one of the optional Square steering wheels?.

These routinely sell for in excess of $1,500 in good condition on eBay.

I just picked up this beauty of ebay . Nice vintage "Superior" wheel with the 3 slots cut into it. Looks sharp on my '68. I will post a pic of it on the car once I can get one.

What would a steering wheel thread be without the classic 10" gold chain wheel.

I drove a car with a chainwheel once. It actually felt...well...good.
Flame on.

OK boys the question was What's your favourite Steering Wheel of all time? That is not the same as What is the nicest ever produced?

I posted my favourite one BUT I agree that the 64 GTO/GP wood wheel is the nicest.

Ray, that's semantics.  The 64 GTO is my favourite one because I think that it is the nicest one GM ever produced.

Those Rosewoods/Walnuts are real nice

I have to say that the wheel that I have installed in more cars is the late 1970's Z28 wheel-maybe not GM's best but was sure nice to drive with-big issues with it being in a 76 corvette and 76 vega GT !
