Chassis was shorten to fit, & frt. wheel arches moved forward to fit wheels. They had to do this so the engine was not up against the firewall, & it sits in there on factory mounts like it was factory. Looks like alot of work went into this so far, floors need some repair under backseat, but not bad. Has leather buckets up front, both power with air "lumbar suports" & matching rear seat. haven't got a clue what they are out of???  will get a photo of these as well as body I D plate soon  Pete

Had planned to do Gasser, with "straight axle" [love the look ]but seeing as chassis has been done I'm not so sure now, may just lift front end up & get the 'look" without the hassle of trying to get steering hooked up to axle. This has front steer box now!!! Anybody have a "MOON" tank, or know where to get one, [ gotta have one on this ] I may re-power with 389 or 455 Poncho, but def. going to have a "stick" tranny, the 305 in it now is supposed to have a cam & other work, runs good, sounds good, will have to see later, Have to move [sell ] the Catalina b-4 I can get into this  $$$ wise  Pete

Yes, I saw that & contacted them, sounds good but didn't like the way the front axle strg. was still on orginal box, & a few pieces missing from strg. as well. Also had org. frt. spindles & brake drums, would have to change everything to get the "ol" girl to stop. Shipping was the other issue!!!  See new post in 58 section for 52's #

Friend of mine had a 51 chev 2 door torpedo back like that.  We had a lot of fun in that car.  Everybody always said  it looked like bear taking a crap.  Added to the mystique.
