"Christine" Pumpkin carving

I got a little crazy with the pumpkin carving this year.

It's not a Pontiac, but I figure you guys wouldn't mind a little nostalgia (or a laugh).  That, and who can resist the evil glow coming from behind a '58 Fury ?...

It was a lot of fun.  You could say, I'm getting my patience ramped up for the body work I'm hoping to start next year on the Safari.

Thats just way too cool zig'!
Pity you can't preserve it somehow...but I guess thats the fleeting beauty of it.
Could you whip 10 or so off next year, 60-70 big Canadian Pontiacs, take some shots?

Hey Todd, one of these Dodges just arrived here in my town. Pink & white,4 dr. sedan, saw it sitting in d/way on the wknd. Parked beside a 59 Monarch 4dr. assume it's the same owner, but don't know them, maybe I should stop in!!!  Pete

Pete,
I was considering buying that pink/white one for parts. It's a rust free Texas car. I could use the floors! If you ever see it for sale, let me know.

Is this it?

Thanks guys.

@ dualquadpete: Now THATs an car that would look sinister on a pumpkin. I love how it has the look that look that makes you wanna get out of the way if it ever raced up behind you.

@ cdnpont: I don't know about whipping out 10 of them, but if you have a nice clean dead-on shot of the front of a few favorites, I'll consider it!

@ 59poncho: Sorry, don't really have any tips. I sorta take on pumpkin carving like I take on repairs:  I grab some tools that I think might do the job and whack at it until it works. biggrin

As for preserving it, nothing really works that well (not even clear coat). Hence the web page - preserved forever!  A few days after the carving, it kinda looked like Christine at the end of the movie before it hit the crusher.
