Not a hockey fan, wouldn't waste the money to see them lose AGAIN. I used to enjoy the Sat. games way back when they had the 6 teams. After all the expansion, I lost interest. I'll be going into "remission" after this Sun. NASCAR race, till Feb. Guess I'm the "classic" gear head???

Our son refuses to give up on the Leafs. He hears me talk about watching them in the 60's when they truly were a great team.

There is only two of us in my office that remember the last Cup win. I went down to Nathan Phillip Square for the Victory Parade. I can still see George Armstrong lifting that cup up over his head. Of course all the players were wearing nice suits.

Special Monday Night Game:

Name Change:
The Toronto Maple Leafs will be changed to the Toronto Tampons' as they are only good for one period, and they don't have a second string.

Coaching Change:
Ron Wilson will be replaced by Pamela Anderson. No doubt she will blow a few, but she won't choke up on the BIG ONE.

Rule Changes:
1. When playing the Girl Scouts, the Leafs must not eat their cookies.
2. The Leafs will be allowed to substitute with band members at any time during the game.
3. When playing the Polio Patients, the Leafs must not disconnect any of the leg braces.
4. There will be no more dancing with opposing teams, like the last time they played the Utopia Gay Boys.
5. The Leafs MUST PROMISE to remember that when the referee drops the puck, this signals the beginning of play. This is to ensure that no more time will be wasted while the Leafs try to figure out what just happened.
6. The Leafs must also stop tangling the crippled children in the net mesh.

Some more pics from Sat. night, Ray and I actually witnessed a miracle, beating the top team in the east in a shoot-out no less.

It was Homecoming night and Leafs honoured were Ian Turnbull, Bobby Baun and Wally Stanowski who is 90!

I don't know why it took me so long to figure out why the Leafs suck. It's simple, only 10 out of 26 players on the roster are born in Canada.

Burke, go check out the teams that make the finals and win each year, heavily slanted towards Canadians. It's a simple formula. As long as the marquee player is from the USA, Phil Kessel, the team is doomed.

My car got broken into last night...I walked up and seen the drivers door lock punched....the first thing that came to my mind...was OMG I left TWO BOX seat tickets on the dash to the next Leafs Game.....so I got in my car, they rifled through everything....Not one thing was taken, so I looked on the dash where I left the 2 Leaf tickets...thinking how stupid can I be....and low and behold....The thieves did NOT take them but left 4 More Tickets beside mine !!!! ba hah ha ha ha

I WAS MARRIED IN 1967

42 YEARS LATER  no Cups

I plan on living until 2049
