Hey folks, hope to make a trip to Jackson's before the snow hits. Is it best to phone ahead & what's the phone # can't find it in Orono or Courtice book. Never been there, what's the reception like to new people?? Need parts for the 52 ???

i'm going wed around 10. he has been closed for over 20 years. sometimes hes there, sometimes hes not. if he doesn't like you, you are not getting in the yard. don't expect to get in without spending sometime chewing the fat. i like the old coot. a lot of the cars have been picked over but there is a lot of stainless of the less desirable makes. can't figure him for prices. depends on his mood.

Good thing ya cancelled Bob. Paul was in a very pissy mood and said nobody in the yard till spring. i don't mind going for a stroll with the dogs. its a good day to sight see and check out the decaying iron. but i don't need the attitude when i have the money and was actually going to get parts for the 2+2. i ended up going to tafts in brighton. still didn't find what i was looking for, but did see a 64 grand prix (not sure of year) that was in a sorry state of affairs. ended up i know of a truck in field 1/2 mile from me, gave the owner a call and we ended up getting the brake and clutch pedal stuff from it to do a conversion on a 57 chev truck.

Steve, I was going to meet you there,but ended up at the clinic this morning. Went to Doc's yesterday & got hit with all sorts of tests to be done, x-rays, shots [flue, normal one not h1n1 ] then blood test & piss test this morning. Guess I didn't miss much, was going to go later this week, but what you said cans that idea!!  Pete

Too bad you made the trip without getting any 2+2 parts; well at least you got the truck parts.
